Kim became a certified professional coach through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and was accredited through the International Coach Federation (ICF) in 2007. Between 2004 and 2016, she worked inside companies such as Taylor-Made Golf, Adidas, Ford Motor Company, and Qualcomm in a talent development capacity, and with UCSD Rady School of Management. Kim has successfully partnered with hundreds of professionals to foster and manage their career development through effective branding, tactical resources, and relational networking. With a focus on leveraging personal strengths and values, she helps individuals develop a strategic plan to manage their careers in a constantly changing professional landscape.
Kim's Story: For the first ten years of my career, I sought the answer to the question “where do I fit in?” After shifting roles in a human resources capacity within corporations, I answered the question in 2007 when I became a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. Since partnering with hundreds of professionals as a career coach , I began to focus on a different question, “how do I stand out?” The inquiry has led me to a soul-centered and intuitive approach to supporting my clients in holistic career management. I integrate Energy Psychology methods, including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and HeartMath Technique; along with my professional experience, practical training, and curious nature to help individuals make career choices in alignment with the full expression of who they are. I work one-on-one and in small groups with mid-career professionals to create empowered career plans, remove perceived barriers, take inspired action, and accelerate their career growth.
